    Re: Big Tish

    It's worth catching up on the "no one is above the law" prosecution of James Comey.

    In summary.

    Comey was charged following a Truth Social Post from Trump to Pam Bondi questioning why no charges had been brought against him.

    Bondi immediately sacked the Justice Department prosecutor who had concluded that there was no case likely to result in a prosecution. She replaced him with Lindsay Halligan, one of Trump's many personal legal representatives. She specialised in insurance law with no prosecution experience. Appointments of that nature normally require Judicial ofr Congressional approval.

    She "convinced" a Grand Jury to take forward two out of the three charges. Comey's initial defence is that the case should not be heard because:

    a) The prosecution was a vindictive act and
    b) Halligan was illegally appointed and hasd no jurisdiction.

    These two strands are being heard by two different judges.

    On the first defence the Judge has ordered all the Grand Jury testimony to be turned over to the defence on reports that Halligan misdirected the Jury and there are missing elements in what the Judge was privy to see.

    On the second a second Judge found out yesterday that Halligan failed to present a new indictment to the full Jury, rather got the Foreman only to witness and sign. Likely to invalidate the affidavit and something on the first page of the Prosecutor For Dummies handbook.

    All the while Bondi has twice testified to court that she is satisfied with the process followed and all materials have been satisfactorily provided. As a result Ty Cobb, an ex-Trump lawyer has suggested that there is sufficient malpractice and incompetence to get Bondi and Halligan struck off.

    I guess that is what you get when you appoint people for their slavish loyalty rather than their competence!

    Halligan is also the prosecutor leading the Letitia James (Big Tish) prosecution. Bet she is shaking in her boots!

          Nothing happens without a reason. In fact, nothing the Magats were expecting to happen has happened. It's interesting, yeah?

            From Trump cajoling his lackey AG to sack a prosecutor who refused nonsensical charges and illegally appoint an insurance lawyer in his place. Then her in turn dropping every ball before the first judge of many who had the chance to put her out of her misery.

            Apparently though this parade of Barnum legal buffoonery bigged up by the equally gifted class on here was all part of a predicted charade.

            Who had that on their bingo card...............apart from almost everybody!

              Or to put it another way, the Dems never landed a glove on Donald Trump, and former actor Donald Trump has never landed a glove on the Dems. It's interesting, yeah?

                There used to be a real idiot on here ranting on about Lawfare and the weaponised DoJ. Now, not so much. I remember how Heathblue used to lap it up.

                Are you going to break it to him gently that you thought all along that his "no one is above the law" and "boomerang" chants were the naive views of someone without the Joe 90 specs. Interesting!

                  I'm just calling it how I see it at this moment in time and my perspective is always changing, just like the plot in a movie that has it's own twists and turns. However, things could be a lot different next week, so watch this space!

                        You don't appoint prosecutors without the right paperwork by accident. Comey & Tish got off on a technicality.

                          Understand that it was a technicality but i'm not so sure, Bondi has appeared to make a right pigs ear of the Job so far, a bodge job with the Epstein files, now this f up, if Trump doesn't sack her maybe it is scripted, his TS posts over the past couple of nights have been bizarre, this current band of 6 are openly goading him to have them arrested over the sedition issue, its interesting times!!!.

                            Nothing happens by accident at that level.

                              Might just be me, Nels, but I get the sense that the Gifted (bff) club are not quite on message here.

                              You seem to be an early adopter realising that when Trump "Truth Socialed" jump, his AG shouts how high and appoints a loyal feckwit to do his slavish bidding, with predictable results when ill-prepared and skilled cronies meet the law of the land.

                              Meanwhile, your bff (after bbq Mozz) chastises you for not seeing the bigger picture. That picture is the following:

                              Trump deliberately goes on social media to go after Comey and Letitia Brown;
                              Bondi, deliberately and deliberately illegally appoints Halligan as the prosecutor;
                              The deliberately illegal prosecutor, Halligan, accidentally but deliberately screws up the case against both of them big time.

                              Now you and Q club might sensibly ask, why go to all the trouble to go after Deep State only to deliberately feck it up and look stupid in the process.

                              I guess, given that you have creditably held up your hands on this is the only the question you might have with the "Nothing happens by accident" part of the sect is what narcissistic bull bubble are they living in?
