People who are against GB News (and probably never watch it anyway) sound about ten times more unhinged and mental than anyone I've ever seen on it! Its like finding the lost script from the Young Ones on here sometimes, except you are all a few decades too old and all competing for the same character of Rick!

I dont think its about being for or against, as previously said MSM is almost finished and it's simply what's on , where you are, what device you have to watch and aggregating between sources, X is by far the biggest news service now and has removed the ability of the previously trusted and established networks to lie and shape their narratives with citizen journalists posting on the spot updates of what is actually happening, X and the like has many negatives but when you see in real time a bloke with a big **** off machette chasing people along a train station looking to maximize harm Sludge and his terror supporting types are automatically stymied. Although apparently this type of thing is accepted as being normalized, I see that girl who got randomly stabbed in the neck on Saturday has died today. On the unhinged aspect, Sludge is that unhinged that he's more than likely decided she was a right winger and deserved it. It's the new normal!!.

Most normal people watch the tv and take it the news wether that be BBC , ITN , SKY , Channel 4 etc

Its people like you who are utterly obsessed with all this Internet shite that want all this X bollocks and spend day in day out on the bus , in the bath and in bed , you are frying your brain

I dont know anyone who thinks knife attacks are normal and all I know about the murder of this woman in Birmingham was that she obviously had people who loved her

I am certainly not interested in her politics I will leave such minor details to freaks like you who now have everything u need to know the ins and outs of everything you complete jellyhead

                  What a tosser!

(Not defending the BBC at all - but the hypocrisy is off the scale!)
Jon, All politics and most politicians is/are hypocritical.
I think that the best we can all do is make a moral compromise in what is tolerable to each of us.

Some more than others, but people like Donald Trump are a symptom not a cause.
Brexit was a symptom not a cause.

I have stated on here before that intersectionality has been used to destabilize the West probably by communist intellectuals (Or possibly large multinationals) and I think that it’s reasonable to think that large swathes of large institutions have been ideologically “captured”.

I also don’t think that people give that much of a **** about what’s wrong or right if it helps further their cause.

Take Palestine for example, there are of course those that have called out Israel for its land grabs and crimes for years…but the chances are that protesters are going to be EU Remaing, lgbT supporters that are against Nation States, Atheist in general but very much Pro Islam.
Why is there so much synergy amongst what should be disparate groups?

Also why the disdain against The Working Class?
Was it because the proletariat failed in implementing Communism and now new, more viable options amongst the disenfranchised can be used?

I could be wrong…I could be right.

BTW, I am a fan of Paul Robeson and am touched by his love of Wales.

                    Re: Panodrama

With the advent of blatantly biased news channels, the onus on the BBC is greater than ever to produce the sort if bakanced reporting that was it's function when it was established. The fact that there has been mutiple examples of them not doing this in recent years plays into the hands of those with agendas against it.

I strongly believe in the concept of the BBC and, despite my faith in it taking a bruising in recent years, am still happy to support the concept of and pay the licence fee for the BBC. I also still believe that you can argue that the BBC is biased whatever side of the political spectrum you back, so the idea of it being "institutionally biased" still seems wrong to me.

Nevertheless, this latest controversy is a shocker to me as much for its sheer stupidity as anything else.

Also good to see the likes of Kelvin McKenzie and Boris Johnson in and around it as the public can be reassured that these bastions of truth had no particular political influences to pedal or personal axes to grind.

Whataboutery is not a good strategy for dealing with factual events. (Informal fallacy)

                            Whataboutery?

It's an observation. The BBC should rightly be held accountable as so should anyone else who have fibbed in journalism or public office.

I'm sure you agree as a self appointed sword of truth?

It's redundant information and bad form. I do it myself sometimes, and its a habit I am trying to get rid of.
