  • Chinese embassy

Just as well the world is talking about Greenland, not like we have any of our own security issues to deal with.

Good day for the government to announce this.

Critics of the project - including some Labour MPs - warn it could pose a security risk.

China play the long game like no other can to be fair to them.

It might be that in the long term we would be better placed having stronger economic and military ties with China than USA. It might afford us protection from a rampaging and rapacious MAGA

As we speak , Chinese , U.S , France , U.K and Russian representatives are all dining in Davos at the annual WEF gathering.

How many private jets do they need :sherlock:

Having worked for the MoD for 40 years I don't think forging stronger military ties with China is on the cards. China will remain a one-party state that controls its population with a rod of iron - and although they engage in very serious espionage their major aims at the moment are to secure raw materials, extend their territorial waters and increase their footprint of influence across the globe, particularly in Africa.

Our only hope is a stronger, united Europe. Without the UK's negative influence it might finally happen.
