Basically the Right hate him and the Left hate him. He's squeezed into insignificance

Given that the two districts are within spitting distance of each other, don't you think that your new concern is slightly immaterial?

Starmer acted and implied that the duty of the lman was to assist in freeing hostages, which at the time were being held by Hamas in Gaza.

If that wasn't Starmer's intention then why on earth did he bring the subject up? Of what possible relevance would it be, to a non-English speaking, Egyptian iman?

Your question was, "when was this"?

I think I provided that confirmation in a timely, manner to you.

A multi would have suggestrd, that you do your own research.

I don't mind assisting a fellow City fan, with some basic background information, but 'multi'?

      That's just cold, man.
We love a “new” poster, particularly on the dark side here….

Blair came in on some degree of good will after a decade plus of the Tories and had genuine enthusiasm and charisma. He was also PM in a time period people were more optimistic about the future. Starmer is a poor man's Blair, although I'll give Starmer credit that he hasn't caved in to go into Iran yet.

But Blair was just a Tory anyway wasn’t he? Been a while since the last proper Labour government, was it 1975? They did well if I recall….

'New'.....I'm still in the box, still under guarantee.
My biggest headache is an inability to find out where the smilies are on here.
It's days like this which make wish I was supporting Kidderminster. Their fan board is a piece of cake. This is hard work

To paraphrase The Prisoner, I am not a 'multi' I'm a free man.

Re "stayed back from the actual fighting".

Just check out how many times in the "war" in Iraq and the "war" in Afghanistan, British Special Forces, such as the SBS and the SAS had to be called in, to save the lives of Delta operatives who were out of their depth.

A Delta squad could fire off 3,000 rounds of ammuniton, with most of it hiting rocks. A four man SAS team would use about 120 rounds between them in the same contact.

Slaughtering retreating soldiers who were unarmed, on the "Highway of Death" from Kuwait to Iraq, is what the Americans refer to as a "battle".
