Re: The Donald Trump thread
Are you saying there are two options...Allow the rouge, sorry, rogue nations and terror groups to continue, or totally destroy them and hundreds of thousands of innocents with nuclear missiles?Originally posted by Wales-Bales View PostWhat are you on about, I'm just reporting the gist of his speech.
Are you a supporter of North Korea who thinks it's OK that they can continue threatening the world with nuclear annihilation?
Trump was talking about confronting rougue nations and groups such as IS in order to create a peaceful world. Are you against this? Do you think these rougue nations and terror groups should be left alone to continue on their paths of destruction?
Do you think there's another option, somewhere in the middle?
This post seems to suggest you don't like North Korea threatening the world with nuclear annihilation but you support Trump threatening the world with nuclear annihilation.
(I know trump hasn't threatened the world but neither has North Korea)

Re: The Donald Trump thread
I'm not saying anything, it's the President of the United States who is doing the talking. He also said in his speech that the people of North Korea are the ones who suffer the most from the actions of it's government.Originally posted by lardy View PostAre you saying there are two options...Allow the rouge, sorry, rogue nations and terror groups to continue, or totally destroy them and hundreds of thousands of innocents with nuclear missiles?

Why were you asking these questions then?
Do you think the people of North Korea will suffer from the actions of a government that 'totally destroys' them?

Re: The Donald Trump thread
It's amazing how the most powerful man in the world threatening to totally destroy a country while speaking in front of the United Nations can be interpreted as a call for world peace.Originally posted by CardiffIrish2 View PostIn the interests of neutrality he did also say he'd 'totally destroy' North Korea but don't let that stop your adoration of Donald the peacemaker.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Because out of all the things Trump said, the poster decided to zoom in on that one thing, just like the MSM did. So basically it's a regurgitation of a fault finding exercise, as opposed to a critical analysis.Originally posted by lardy View Post"Are you a supporter of North Korea who thinks it's OK that they can continue threatening the world with nuclear annihilation?

I can't believe you went back to edit the post just to add that sentence.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Sorry buddy, I'm not sure why you're bringing MSM into this repeatedly. All that has been said is that Trump threatened to totally destroy North Korea. This is a fact, you posted his speech yourself.Originally posted by Wales-Bales View PostI already know what the MSM stance is regarding the speech, so it's hardly worth repeating it verbatim.

There's obviously an ironic twist to your message that I should point out. If mine in your opinion was a regurgitation of a fault finding excercise then yours can be construed as a blatant piece of pro trump propaganda.
Personally I don't think it's healthy that the president of the USA should be using phrases like totally destroy in front of the UN. It makes him sound a prick and its not very reassuring to the poor punters in South Korea is it?

Yes, but the response is a typical one from the MSM, and then some posters repeat it word for word.Originally posted by lardy View PostSorry buddy, I'm not sure why you're bringing MSM into this repeatedly.
