Perhaps he did . He was on life support himself surely the rule in life is for all and perhaps if he has to resign from his job then everyone else who were caught should as a death is death.

Let's be honest this is not about Covid it's about hatred of an individual...

There's quite a few worse offenders out there who probably broke self isolation rules resulting in someone becoming very unwell and potentially dying .
Who are the worse offenders? Perhaps they’ve been done as well, this bloke was on telly every night with scientists either side of him stressing the need not to do the things that he was doing. He’s the Prime Minister for f*ck’s sake, worse offenders!!!! I despair of the apologists for him:facepalm:

The thing is, it’s “all about hatred of an individual”, there wasn’t all of this fuss when all of those other Prime Ministers were judged to have broken their own
law - oh, hang on, that’s wrong isn’t it. But what about that “silly SNP woman”? What she did was much worse.

The King of whataboutery really has had a bit of a mare today.

HE WAS NOT ON LIFE SUPPORT :hehe: he was in and out of hospital in a week. Another lie.

Q how many Boris supporters does it take to change a light bulb?

A None. Boris tells them he’s done it and they all sit around in the dark clapping.

Unfit to govern, a liar and a charlatan.

Vary rarely post anymore but cannot understand your logic, he is the PM of the UK and the rule setter,
he then broke the rules, repeatedly lied about breaking them, got caught, paid the fine and then made light of his offence by suggesting he didn't know the rules, he also lied to Parliament but still you defend the indefensible, unbelievable

27 hours and 7 pages of posts later something called BreaktheLaw Boris gets sent to the Politics Board. CCMB moderation on a plate!

I didn't have a birthday party for my 50th. My partner had died in the first week of lockdown. Instead, my friend came and left a cake on my doorstep. She stood 2 metres away while I cried. She couldn't comfort me. I had to cry alone and she had to watch and feel helpless
A mother and father wearing hazmat suits had to stand behind a curtain as they watched their 13yr old son take his last breath. They couldn't even show their faces to him. None had covid. That made me angry, and it still does nearly 2 years on.

Two years ago you were calling out anyone who said that Covid was anything other than the sniffles as some kind of naysayer. My sympathies to anyone who had to go through what you described but at that time there was no test and trace, no vaccine and the greatest risk of transmission was in hospitals and homes.

Still Boris Johnson is a nice bloke and it was only a piece of cake so let's move on, eh!

Yep and I won't be voting for them to be Prime Minister either.

The calls for his resignation are more about the lie and cover up than the £50 fine, the only reason anyone cares today is because Boris wouldn't be honest and told everyone to wait until the investigation was complete.

You have incredibly low standards if you think the way Boris has behaved over the past few months (/his whole life) should permit him to remain in the post he holds.

That is such a pathetic cop out, so it is impossible to criticise someone's behaviour now? it's just a character assassination? This is more about being proven right time and time again. Boris is and always was unfit for high office.

This is what pisses me off about the 'everyone broke the rules' bullshit. No they didn't and in most cases, it actually wasn't possible to in a lot of circumstances.

From the off, it was established that in 99% of cases Covid was a danger to those with underlying conditions or over 85. None of these met that criteria. Loudspeakers in Llandaff Fields shouting at decent, law-abiding folk to stand 20yds apart. Nurses dragging mothers, sons, away from dying loved ones. Police patrolling roads checking people are within 5 miles of home. On and on for 2 years. You're dead right I didn't join the 'let's shut the world down' chorus on here.
