Nobody said it was acceptable, you're a complete one sided EU fanatic lacking all objectivity. On the question of Russia. It's real politik, As simple as that.
The EU fanatics along with Nato decided to encroach on historical Russian intrests and now we have a bloody war because of it. The EU and Nato seem prepared to waste every last Unkrainian life in a proxy war with Russia.

There may be bad apples everywhere in life Elwood but my assertion is that the Tories have a monopoly of them. One of the main reasons for that is that it is a central Tory belief that the individual should make the most of his or her opportunities solely for their own gain. They vaunt aspiration as a fundamental goal to cherish. Socialists on the other hand place equality as their overarching tenet.

It doesn't mean to me that all Tories are all equally as repugnant. Although I could never agree with their politics, there have been a few senior Tories I regard with great respect. People like Dominic Grieve, David Gauke, Anna Soubry and Justine Greening are of that Ilk. However, sadly the present day leadership candidates represent a grotesque clutch of the worst Tory traits.

I'm sure you won't agree but in any case it's struck me as highly unlikely anyone is going to change their belief system from a conversion on a football message board whatever happens.

Honestly, you are little more than a bigot. And seemingly completely oblivious to the crimes that have occurred throughout history under socialism and the good done under centre-right governments (and vice versa).

The fact you view things so grotesquely black and white means you either don't know your history or are blind to it.

It genuinely disturbs me some of the stuff you write. I've known quite a few politicians in my time (mainly councillors) through work and you really could do with meeting a few in the same way a racist could do with meeting a few different people.

Sorry but bigots like you need calling out. It's unclear whether you are labelling every MP, every councillor, every voter as such, but you are talking about peoples parents, friends, relatives and your gross stereotypes are simply not on. It may be a game for you but MPs face daily threats from people who speak the kind of language you do.

If you can't help yourself to speak in a more open minded way, then at the very least don't impose your bigotry on every else.

The difference here is that no one defends Adolf Hitler, whereas you seem to defend socialism in all it's guises even though it has been used (wrongly) as the rationale for mass murder on a scale that no religion or other ideology can claim credit for. Usually done by brainwashed people who dehumanise those who hold different opinions.

Thats why people should call out the kind of stuff you and Doucus post on here. People shouldnt have to come on here and read their friends, family or anyone being labelled as repugnant just because they hold a different view to you.

In 2012 The ethnic Russians in donbass had a civil uprising in order to be away from Ukraine. Similar in Crimea. You really have no idea about the history in this conflict. Move away from the BBC for a while. Get some balance.

Whilst it is true that there are ethnic Russians who have sought greater ties with Russia, even going as far as declaring breakaway republics, you make this sound like it is all first language Russian speakers - it is not, not by a country mile.

Just to put this into context, Zelenskyy is first language Russian, and he is as Ukrainian as they come. Language in Russia does not define nationhood, much the same way we can be Welsh but speak English.
