Until Starmer can answer the question Can a woman have a penis (in fact any politician) then they'll not got my vote. Starmer couldn't answer it , he couldn't even answer the question of whether Eddie Izard can stand on an all woman selection panel.

Ed Davey Lib Dems tried and failed , I havent heard Sunak answer that question - yet though.

I do agree about the generally poisonous nature of identity politics. It's a path that doesn't get society where it wants to be and creates ridiculous scenarios like this.

You missed the point - Can a woman have a P enis is a very very simple question to answer. And if any politician cant answer that very simple question - then how on earth are they going to answer a more difficult or serious question, eg how do deal with stagflation, global supply chain management and what a UK govt can do about it. Getting NHS wait lists down - without throwing money at the problem etc etc.

Certain political parties will get wrapped up in gender ideologies (Labour, Plaid and the SNP at present) that they lose all focus of everything else.

Maybe she / they could have one (P enis) in some sort of left wing organ donor swap. Find someone on tinternet that wants to go the other way - and swap them over. However knowing how much Labour / SNP / Plaid get wrapped up in all this stuff - maybe instead the political parties concerned about could offer up their new definitions of a woman, I wonder how well that would go with the other 'women' - the old fashioned women with a vag...

I can almost hear the outrage from Eddie Izzard - just after his new vag surgery - when he discovers it has been donated by a Tory and he sues the NHS for post traumatic Vag syndrome...
