  • The Wurzels

Doing quite well tonight against a strong Manchester City side. Hate to say it but I’m quite impressed by the twats. Hope they burn themselves out.

I think they will be top 6 next season ?

        Let’s hope they’re thoroughly demoralised.

Hate the bastards. They have as much relevance as Shaking Stevens.

the trouble is they are now used to a team playing the same way we do.

Shakin' Stevens was my hero growing up 😐
He introduced me to rock'noll, even if he was an Elvis rip-off.

                    Re: The Wurzels

We've spent close to twenty years beating the wurzels more often than not at youth levels and which one of us is the club that consistently produces their own first team players who are regularly sold on for big sums? They trust their youngsters as a club, we don't.

Theyve got the same amount of points as Reading who were garbage. We badly need the 3 points and I think we will probably get them.

They are 10 points off the play offs.

That's because of their form in the first half of the season. They hadn't been beaten until yesterday since Boxing Day. They are one of division's form teams unfortunately.

Agreed it doesn't matter where a team is in the league, it's where they are currently in form, and Bristol are in really good form.

We have home advantage and a longer rest period, so we are in with a chance, but this is a game where we would do well to get a point.

Unbeaten since December in the league during which time they’ve beaten Hull, Preston, Norwich and Birmingham (all bar Preston were at home). They’ve drawn against Wigan, Sunderland, Blackburn, Coventry and Millwall.

Nothing to fear in this fixture, we really should be looking for the three points.

One of their ‘celebrity’ fans - Joseph Parsons - was invited onto Talk sport yesterday to talk about the Man City game but said how Saturday’s game is more important as, “all Cardiff fans are scum!”
