  • One for Sludge

The PM's route out of lockdown is unlikely to lift restrictions on social contact between people from different households - which also prevent people hugging their grandparents, if they don't share a bubble or household - until step four

I think after one has had the second vaccine , one could make oneself available as a safe body to share ?

I've never been keen on the title of that book in the English translation even though it sounds a bit poetic and is now part of our language. The original title more literally translates as there being nothing new to report in the west (i.e. on the Western Front) rather than it being quiet.

The Somerset version is 'All Quiet on the Weston Front'.

I thought it was 'No sea on the Weston Front'.

I lived there for 4 years and can count the number of times I saw the tide fully in on the fingers of 2 hands (if I was a JB that is!) :hehe:
