Even if we hadn’t equalised, these seem a very harsh set of marks - looks like they were written before Broadhead’s goal and he forgot he’d already allocated a “star man”.

I don't know, take the point all day but it was a smash and grab.

Better finishing from Croatia and I don't think I'd have complained too much if it was 3 nil.

Yeah I really did half expect another Netherlands style sucker punch 30 seconds after the equaliser, and it nearly happened.

Amazing result though, lucky but so what! :D

Why do we keep doing that. Twice against Holland. And so nearly again last night. The defending on that alone was shambolic. But great fight and a superb point. And to think no bale, joe Allen, Ben Davies, Brennan, David Brookes, and Rambo, Dan James and harry Wilson hooked after 60 mins.

Now can we break down a team who has 10 behind the ball? Big test.

Looking at the marks 4 and 5 s are generally fair. More 5s than 4s though. Maybe Ampadu deserved a 6. He certainly was better than Joe Rodon.

Nico was disappointing maybe hes trying too hard as hes now probably one of our better players and the defence is just pretty poor.

I missed the 1st half hour and on the balance of the 60 minute's I saw I didnt think Croatia were that dominant. Better than thus but we managed to hang on in there and hit them with the long throw smash and grab.

And possession means nothing unless you win. The only stat that matters is if you score more than the opposition.

Our left back was always going to have a problem against Croatia, no matter who was selected to play there.

As I mentioned a few pages back, it was USA all over again. I can only think the manager is not very good at motivating the players.

Probably for the young players like Broadhead just being on the pitch, achieving their ambition to play for Wales, was all the motivation they needed?

We improved in both games, but is was similar rabbits in the headlights stuff for a long period after kick-off. The players should have been chomping at the bit, so I can't think of any other reason why they weren't. They were once again totally lacking in self-belief for a good 30 minutes or more in am opening tournament fixture.

Croatia made a few chances but most of their shots were from range and we were able to keep our shape fairly well.

The players just need to perform to their own individual capability. When the entire team fail to do that from kick-off there is something wrong with the preparation IMO.

The most depressing thing was hearing the inane “Men of Arlech” over and over. I thought there’d be enough Gog and Jack bucket heads to drown that out.
