Thats got to be fake and a complete load of bollox. If it was true both sides would be looking at far worse than a points deduction.🤣

It's past the deadline for points deductions this season.

Burnley are promoted, so can't be deducted points next season as FL and Prem are separate entities.

                Utter non-stoy.

the deadline applies to points deductions for administration, reading got their points deduction well after the deadline.

Theres zero chance any investigation would be completed before the end of the season, by which time Burnley won't be punished.

They won’t be punished because they haven’t broken any rules.

Apparently, the regulations state that at this time of the year a club must include at least ten players in their match day squad who appeared in their previous match day squad. For the Reading game, Burnley named 14 players from their 18-man squad against Sheffield United.

According to the BBC report, the EFL have asked Burnley for their observations following a complaint from Huddersfield. This has Warnock written all over it. I reckon he’s doing what he can to ensure Burnley play a strong team against City.

Sky are reporting the EFL have concluded Burnley have no case to answer.

Good effort by Warnock to stir the pot, though.

Hope he doesn’t blow the whistle on the manager’s financial shenanigans at the City when he was manager here:yikes:

Huddersfield Town boss has denied reports that he contacted the EFL regarding Burnley making six changes for their clash with Reading.

                              "I don’t think we’ve reported them"
