  • RUMMER TAVERN, part 2

Hi all, we are under new management and set up as a CCFC supporters pub in the city centre. Weve got some classic shirts and images on the walls, our upstairs bar is now the 1927 lounge and weve got TVs and big screens throughout with all the sport on. And from September we will be doing amazing food with burgers, dirty fries, nachos, wraps etc.
Pop in and say hello. We'd love to see you. Give our page a follow to stay up to date on events, including ex player Q and A

Used to get in there all the time in the eighties and nineties, but, for the life of me, I can’t remember what the beer was (I mean beer, never much liked lager). Think it might have been Worthy best, but I might well be wrong (does Worthington Best Bitter still exist?).

Burgers, dirty fries and Nachos? Sounds like the kind of place that’ll charge 6 quid a pint…

Best of luck to them, would be nice if the club could get involved in the reopening in some way. Even if it’s just to offer a couple of free tickets as a quiz prize or arrange a Q+A with some players.

No it hasn’t! Was Hallinans in the 50’s/60’s.

£4 a pint in town before the game???? Need to drop their prices to match other popular City watering holes, The Central Bar, The Borough, The Queen’s Vaults even the new Temple Bar pub provide a cheaper pint of bitter, Guinness & Strongbow. Live Lounge also. Daytime town drinkers vote with what’s in their pocket. Sell it at a competitive price or folk will walk out, as they did before the QPR game.
