He’s a hell of a goal scorer but what a weird thing when England were desperate to get back in the game against Iceland in Euro2016. England awarded a free kick wide on the left about thirty yards out, Joe Hart comes up to add to the attack and the Premier League’s top scorer takes the kick. No wonder they f*cking lost with tactics like that

I think it was probably more Roy Hodgson's doing than Kane. As you said, a weird ploy. No wonder the England team failed so miserably in that tournament. I also don't think that the Bundesliga is as strong as the Premiership, the standard drops quite quickly after Munchen and Dortmund, which may explain how well he is doing.
(From this you may suspect I'm not in the Harry Kane wonder player fan club. As someone else says when the pressure is on he isn't always around.)
