Another classic case of "I don't like it because I don't understand it"

I felt the defence kept the momentum going by stopping the Rams early on in overtime. It meant Williams just had to get them in field goal range to win the game, ideal scenario for a QB of his quality. He was doing a decent job too until the wide receiver gave up on his throw for some reason and allowed an interception.
I don't think you ever go for 2 in a situation like that.

Probably not but he'd been gambling on fourth downs through the game and, as you say, they had massive momentum at that point so maybe he wishes he had now.

What's your view (and the 'expert's' view, you can spare me the social media reaction) on the Denver interception in overtime? Weird one that. I was sure it was a catch but I've seen a still that suggests it just came loose as he hit the ground enabling the Denver guy to take it. I hadn't heard the expression 'survive the ground' before but I guess it's the key to this as opposed to a running play where just getting a knee down means it's your ball.

To me it's a catch. I don't see how it could be an interception. The Bills player clearly has his knee down and the ball is completely in his possession. The Broncos player doesn't even have a hand on it.

That's what my common sense told me but apparently he was considered to be in the process of making a catch rather than having completed the catch so his knee hitting the ground wasn't the end of the play. He had to secure the ball on hitting the ground but he didn't and allowed the Denver guy to take it off him so it was an interception. I don't know enough about the rules, it seems harsh to me but plenty of people are saying it was the right call, Joe Burrow included.

I see the Bills are linked with Bill Belichick, that would be a turn-up. I also see a guy called Mike McCarthy is in the running. That's not our Mad Mick is it? Josh Allen is in for a hell of a shock if it is.

How do you see the two games going on Sunday?
