Didn’t realise at first that there are no away fans at the game. Seems to have worked in Celtics favour though. They’ve absolutely battered Rangers all half. Maybe it’s the siege mentality.

The main commentator was saying that the defender got the ball first but the VAR footage only showed on the referee's monitor the contact :shrug:

Celtic certainly weren’t happy with him being appointed for this game. Read an article claiming he was a Rangers fan although it also stated that the VAR man for the game had Celtic sympathies. I s’pose most fans up there are one or the other though.

He could have booked two Celtic players in the first 10 minutes but didn't - commentators saying he was right because it was so early but I don't get that arguement at all - if that's the case why did Celtic score inside 20 seconds surely that's too early

They went back to a foul just outside Rangers's penalty area probably 30 seconds before the ball hit the net!
