The main commentator was saying that the defender got the ball first but the VAR footage only showed on the referee's monitor the contact :shrug:

What a hit by Matondo... if this is the best referee and VAR they can find for such a big game, maybe I should stop complaining about the standard in the Championship

He could have booked two Celtic players in the first 10 minutes but didn't - commentators saying he was right because it was so early but I don't get that arguement at all - if that's the case why did Celtic score inside 20 seconds surely that's too early

Early cards make it hard for the ref to manage a game, not sure what the comparison between goals and fouls is all about.

Some equaliser that just got in an put it on after seeing online they were 2 down.
