here are some stats which i,ve nicked from the other board which is interesting reading

Of the 18 teams who were in the championship last season and are in it this season Cardiff so far increase their points from last season to this season by just over 20% This is the best increase of any team that is still in the division from last season.

Just pointing out that it is a big achievement where we were at beginning of season with a transfer embargo

You can't argue with stats like that and I think we have over achieved this season

Would be nice to play with panache and style week in week out of course on a consistent basis but lets be realistic we just haven't got the quality at the minute . Bulut would be perfect for a side like Norwich as an example in the championship who have better quality
Moz you are so blinded with Buluts having a link to futsal youve lost all grip on reality. :hehe:

From exciting football, the likes us Cardiff fans weve never seen before, to it doesnt really matter how we play as long as we get the points on the board.

    Thats some U-turn :hehe:

The stat is incorrect for starters. 59 points this season and 41 points last season is an increase of 43.9%. The increase is 18 points.

In 2017/18 we won 62 points and won promotion the following season with 90 points. The percentage increase was 45% but the actual increase was 28 points. Percentage-wise virtually the same as this season but a far greater points increase. It's likely that's the greatest percentage increase for teams in the Championship last season, but as our points tally was lower than any other, it's less of an achievement - 43.9% for a side with, say, 60 points last season would mean a 26 point increase.

Suppose we'd won 5 points last season. A 43.9% increase would see us win 7 points this season. 85 points last season would result in an increase to 122 points at 43.9%.

Does a 43.9% increase in points from last season sound better than an actual increase of 18 points? I don't know. I'd just use actual points instead of percentages.
Youve had a mare here, Eric.

You and Moz are fighting it out to be Buluts version of that Comical Ali fella. :hehe:

75% of the league was under an embargo?

You're not that dopey that you don't understand an embargo is a disadvantage are you?

75% of the league had no money to spend and were relying on freebies Linus.

Things would have been alot different if our targets in the January window from Greece , Turkey and Croatia would have materialized i,m sure but it wasn't to be all forward players too exactly what we've been screaming out for in the way Bulut sets up his side

Talking of Futsal the FA Wales Elite league play off final next month . Looking forward to that

The winners to represent Wales in the European Futsal Champions league .Another potential trip across Europe beckons for me

Should have more clean sheets than that really when you keep 10 players in your own half for the large majority of the game. 12 is pretty muich average throughout the championship.

Nonsense, you think a transfer embargo makes no difference :hehe:

Der no, alright it's just as easy when you can't pay a fee :hehe:

5 sides have kept more clean sheets in the Championship than us, which I found a bit surprising. However, that's tempered by the fact that only 7 sides have failed to score in more games than us.

We were 8th for clean sheets in the table I just read but only kept 2 more than Preston in 17th.

Goalkeepers with the most Clean Sheets in the England Championship. Clean sheet stats for teams and their CS percentage data also included.
