We are the masters of turning attack into defence.

Our only real thoughts on attack is to counter. If we are on the edge of their box the natural thing to do is go back to the keeper to draw the defence out.

The team is full of kids but I think Page’s time must surely be up. He is a good man. A respectable man. a passionate Welshman. But he doesn’t have the intelligence required to be a good international manager. For me, the time has come to open up the wallet and give Osian Roberts the chance of the No.1 job.

He deserves it. He could fix this.

We’ve just folded once the first goal went in - it’s the sort of thing that would have you saying that the team aren’t playing for the manager if it was club football.
