Wow, I wish I didn't have to return 'home' to the States next week - I think this guy will be huge success and imo we now seem close to having a very good shout for 24/5.

Isn't it a blindingly obvious one? Colwill was unlikely to get much (if any) game time here this season, so a move to League Two seems about right.
Some people are glass half and positive. Maybe better for them to be like that than look for the negative in everything all the time. You’re like a badly scorned ex girlfriend on times.

That old line. Top marks. Must have taken you hours to come up with that beauty.

Some people are glass half? Righto…

There’s no need to be so bitter and twisted. It can’t be good for your mental health being so negative all the time. I don’t like Bulut ball and I’m not a fan of Tan either but to be so negative before a ball is even kicked this season can’t be good for you. It must be mentally exhausting trying to find a negative with everything the club does. Every single signing you’ve looked for the negative in their stats and now you’re looking for a negative in us loaning out a youngster.

Do you want a cuddle? Would that make you feel better?

I very much doubt a cuddle from you would be in any way beneficial, but I’m certainly open to any better offers.

I wasn’t commenting negatively about the club sending Colwill out on loan. It’s blindingly obvious they should be doing just that, and hopefully more of the club’s youngsters will also be going out on loan before the window shuts.

I was merely commenting negatively about the bullshit way in which football journalists these days attempt to sensationalise even the most basic bits of news.

Sending a young player out on loan to get games and gain experience isn’t ‘a very smart move.’ It’s common practice, common sense and something almost every professional football club will do this summer.

Apologies if that sounds negative or glass half. But it’s merely the truth.

considering it wasn't long ago we were sending our top prospects to Weston Super Mare, or the Welsh league I'm happy for them to go over the top a bit on this one

Perhaps that’s as good as the players concerned were. Haven’t City sent plenty of other young players on loan to League One and Two in recent years? Or have I imagined it?

Mark Harris had a couple of stints with Flynn's Newport I seem to remember.

Weston Super Mare play in the National League South, that not a bad standard for young players to learn at. Tough as well.

Cheltenham are paying the majority of his wages ( not that he was on much ) and it’s feasible that they have paid a loan fee as well , and it would be considerably more than Weston and teams of that stature.

                      More to go out shortly

to be fair to the NLS, they provided Cheltenham with Jordan Thomas who will be playing with Joel this season

Now I liked watching JT at Bath City, a decent player and I said he would make it in the lower leagues of the EFL , will be interesting to see him and Joel play

Saw another podcast by the person who I put a link to a few days ago and he’s now saying we’re signing a number 8/box to box midfielder early next week (presumably Robertson). He says we then could be signing a centreback who he’s been told will be coming here to be a starter in the first team a few days later. He sees this as a bit pointless and figures it must mean McGuinness is leaving, I find it hard to disagree with him and can only think the new centreback has to be some player(maybe the Cypriot centreback we were linked with yesterday?).

It seems he’s signed his contract. He also said that El Ghazi had the chance of going elsewhere when Watford came in with a late bid, but he turned them down.

Apparently Kanga has a permanent deal in place if he meets certain targets during the season,

He says Robertson was City’s second choice in midfield, but the first one was not available at first, last week though he contacted City to say he was interested in coming here. The bloke doing the stream said that there was a small chance that we could sign both of them.

There’s got to be a few leaving now surely.

                            Interesting

                            Swansea interested in Tyrese Campbell

Lets see if we do get one of the midfielders this week!

It doesn't make it official...but now Hull seem to be conceding that Robertson is on his way to Cardiff.

                              I really hope this happens...
