Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
I suppose I was also reflecting on willock and chambers who were both with clubs I think and bulut indicating they needed gradual introduction so those either injured or out of action therefore needing to take longer again - let's hope they are fit and raring to go sooner rather than later👍Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View Post

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Luton Town are interested in signing Mark McGuinness. Cardiff have placed a £10m-plus valuation on the defender and feel they are in a strong negotiating position.

Might not get that fee, but club could still stand to make substantial profit.https://t.co/WiKxp2TZrD

Good player but any fee around that mark would be an absolute no brainer to let him go.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View Posthttps://x.com/glenwilliams12/status/...Q7_AggLZAJxrmQ

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Luton are good at finding the right players with the right stats and characteristics, he's probably a much better player than we know, still at that price we'd have to!Originally posted by Der Kaiser View PostGood player but any fee around that mark would be an absolute no brainer to let him go.

If they are that good at finding the right players why wouldn't they able to build a team that would have avoided relegation last season?Originally posted by North Cardiff Blue View PostLuton are good at finding the right players with the right stats and characteristics, he's probably a much better player than we know, still at that price we'd have to!
I don't recall anyone saying we were good at finding the right players with the right stats and characteristics when we got relegated from the Premier League.

Interestingly the thread switches to 'who would you go for and Scott Mckenna's name immediately comes up.Originally posted by uncle bob View Post
I really hope the Mckenna rumours are true, he and McGuinness would be a top class pairing. Dare I say, a promotion winning pairing.
I hope we don't sell McGuinness. Despite the figures being bandied about representing 'good business' under the current ownership there has never been a direct correlation between income and expenditure in the transfer budget.

I agree, we’re supposed to be building a squad to challenge but then people are happy to sell players who can help make that happen.Originally posted by AdrianAlston View PostI hope we don't sell McGuinness. Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
He's probably our most saleable asset and, much as I would hate to see him leave, I would sell him because it would allow us to invest more in the rest of the team.Originally posted by Des Parrot View PostI agree, we’re supposed to be building a squad to challenge but then people are happy to sell players who can help make that happen.
