Perry NG to Preston £3.5m ?

Preston are without a manager and that would be their record transfer.

They're also the only club in worse form than us, having lost their last 6 league games without scoring a goal.

I’ve read from “in the know” online sources that the identity of the striker we sign will come as a shock, albeit a pleasant one, to City fans and that he is a “proven” scorer. Do either of the players named in that Tweet fit those descriptions? I don’t think so.

Whoever he is, he'll need to score two goals a game the way things are going.
