I see Burnley announced the appointment of a new first team coach yesterday, I’m not sure if that means he’s their manage or not, but, unless Craig Bellamy gets the manager’s job, I can see him getting the job with a more experienced man to assist him.
I think they knew the Welsh Fans opinion of him, and although they liked him knew it had to be done.
A part-time Managers job like this would certainly suit Bellamy a lot more than the day to day running of a Championship/Premier League club, dealing with signings and Owners, I think this is the right job at the right time for Bellamy
Osian Roberts and Bellemay sounds like a great potential team.
If not together I would be very happy with either of them.
Looking for part time work
Doesn’t live too far away
Knows the region / stadium
Won’t need to waste money on transfers
Welsh people are his kind of people
Russell Slade lives in Penarth .... maybe he could do a job for us.
I can see the wales online headline now - desperate Wales turn to be given a touch of Slade magic
In for a penny in for a pound (add you own Slade joke here..)
We were a penalty away from qualifying for the Euro's in front of a full house, we're doing ok
On the day we could have been in Berlin but for a penalty kick, Page must be feeling the pain of small margins. I bet he didn’t think playing a make shift team in June would have such consequences.

Two penalties really, as Poland scored all 5. Even if James' penalty hadn't been saved I would have still bet on Poland to carry on scoring.
Keeping them to no shots on target over 120mins was a far better achievement but other than Davis' disallowed goal Wales just couldn't put pressure on the Polish defence . It will be interesting to see if the new manager finds a way of better accommodating Johnson, Moore, Brooks, Wilson and James (with players like Harris and Koumas coming through too) into a system that can score goals.
