It becomes hard work, I know Ive been in both their shoes, every post ( could be abut anything ) they make the same lot jump on the post, it becomes a chore

fair play to them, they stick at it, maybe they dont want to let " them " win

Just so as I understand. As the Board's chief moderator you tolerate LoM's long history of mysoginistic and racist posts because a similar cadre of people has given you a bit of gyp in the past. Surely it would only become a chore if you moderated it?

Pretty sure you asked me this before ( or a very similar question ), but it might have been just before you 'left' and you missed the reply ? ?

I always delete / edit posts I deem as mysoginistic, racist, homophobic or offensive as I see them, you always have the " report post " option Incase I havent seen them as ive been busy ( this is only a part time gig for me, I do have a life )

I think the last time I complained about your moderating was when you tolerated Goslow's Grenfell Tower Candle far too long. Didn't realise that moderating required the "report post" option to trigger intervention. Explains a lot but thanks for explaining it again!

Thanks. But given the amount of stuff that would be filtered out at source on most boards without the need for "snowflakes" to alert you some of us had a good idea already!

Matt, LOM posts some awful stuff, Racist etc, yet you male out like he's a victim and pushing against the tide. People having a go back at him is a clue as to the nature of his views, They're vile on times. It's not even constructive. I don't mean to be rude, but you can't really bring your own personality into Moderating. You may well be a person that rubs along with most people, whatever their view, but it's different on here, there has to be some order. LOM goes way past what is acceptable.
