Matt, LOM posts some awful stuff, Racist etc, yet you male out like he's a victim and pushing against the tide. People having a go back at him is a clue as to the nature of his views, They're vile on times. It's not even constructive. I don't mean to be rude, but you can't really bring your own personality into Moderating. You may well be a person that rubs along with most people, whatever their view, but it's different on here, there has to be some order. LOM goes way past what is acceptable.

Thanks. But given the amount of stuff that would be filtered out at source on most boards without the need for "snowflakes" to alert you some of us had a good idea already!

Perhaps the best way to appease the masses is to bring in a small payable membership with people using their personal names who can be easily identified, I’m sure that would calm a few people down.

Well said, especially the bit about how you can't bring your own personality into moderating. I was a moderator on here for a very short time about twenty years ago, but I soon discovered that I would have been terrible at the job because the first time I was tested, I didn't mske a balanced choice, I allowed my own feelings to take over and ended up making a decision that was wrong on all sorts of levels.

If we're going to do this properly and blow some smoke up each others arses, Then in no particular order- Jon 1959, Cyril, Lardy, Wilson, Citizens Nephew, TLG ( He makes me laugh) Der Keiser, Older blue, Spotty, and Hartley when he's on one. Eric as well. Jon 1959 reminds me a bit of the people who I grew up around. My old man was a Trade unionist, Anti Fascist etc, and his writing is excellent. I love older blue because he gets right into it, doesn't pass on how he's feeling about the team-management, Club. Wilson is the man to go to. Der Keiser is good value as well. CN is Ace, of the scale🤣 Oh yeah, Nobody's Rep and Super feathers are both really good as well. I basically love everyone ❤️
