You’re just not getting my Ramsey mug. Or my FAW one with the old badge.
Or whatever the Mrs favourite set of 4 is at that given time.
You’re getting one of the previous favourite set of 4, or one from lanzarote or other foreign holidays which, while aren’t anywhere near daily use, are perfectly adequate.
And they’ll have been thoroughly rinsed of dust and spiders

So I’m a valve set enthusiast. F*ck you. You’re getting the jam jars if you ever set foot in my manor matey!

Don’t apologise mate. I can’t blame you wanting to look after your best mugs. I’ve got a Prince Charles Investiture mug that no riff raff’s lips are getting anywhere near.

And I’m the only one who tips. Well that’s not gonna happen anymore. Mrs C is already stocking up the Tesco bags after hearing the truth about tradesmen getting caught short.

My Mrs still tips the postperson at Christmas

Not the dust people though, as they leave shite all over the street

This is the equivalent of premature ejaculation.

I would've kept that retort for better use.

But why the distinction though? I don't get it at all, it comes across as there being different grades of crockery for different grades of people

Sensible and fair, I've done the same if you get a really good one, you want a chance to get the good ones back

I wouldn't take it personally, I think people who have said that are more worried about cement and mud and stuff getting on the mugs outdoors.

I'm not, I was half joking. I couldn't care less what type of cup my brew comes in. Most people make a shit cup of tea anyway, and they buy that awful cheap Coffee, or maybe that's for the tradesmen, we're not good enough for Maxwell House... Never mind boys, you just keep ****ing your houses up and we'll come over and put it right for you👍🤣

Delm….I’m making it all up. It’s all BS mate. I don’t even have a valve radio. Though I do find it funny to think there are grades of crockery depending on status. But seriously…I’ve got 2 Cardiff City mugs and a jam jar for cold drinks. I think we have 1 plate. Now I am being truthful. We can’t be arsed with all that stuff. I spend the money on tech for work. Mrs C spends it on shrooms and clothes. We love everybody and treat everyone equally…..except plasterers….we try to avoid them. Shifty.
