I had an email from the club yesterday with a link to download to Apple/Google, but I checked before clicking the link and it was already loaded as I presume a continuation from last season

Same here. The email could have been clearer that if you had renewed the digital season ticket should already have be loaded into your wallet.

I downloaded & saved in wallet but it went straight to expired for some reason. Also showing 11:30 KO v Sunderland.

Is the 11:30 referring to the time they open the ground, rather than kick off time?

It is possibly not coping with the time zone correctly and is stating it in GMT rather than BST.

Time zone it will correct itself.
They ticket's are loaded automatically on the phone from carrying on from last season

The correct time of 1230 is stated in this season's electronic fixtures calendar from Sky that you can drop into your phone's existing calendar (and which get amended when anything changes).
