    Re: Bulut out

Rob Page called Colwill out for his off the ball discipline in the summer and it’s something I’m sure it’s something that Bulut has alluded to in the past as well. More to it than meets the eye as to why his game time is so limited I feel

Jimmy, nice to see someone with a bit of perspective and a dash of optimism.

Before yesterday's game (in the pub before actually going to the match) I said I was not optimistic for the match, but I was optimistic for the season. This may of course change, but unlike some posters on here I am going to watch what happens with interest rather than an agenda.

From that group, Luey Giles and Josh Beecher have already played for the first team, Dylan Lawlor has been an unused sub and there are others like Ronan Kpakio, who’s a year younger, who could well be involved in the midweek cup match.

However, based on the evidence of a decade or more, you can’t help thinking that City will find a way to mess up the development of a group of players who should net us a lot of money in the transfer market, provide the club with many years of first team service or maybe even both.

As for Colwill, he’s been a bit hit or miss so far this season, but I think he feels he has to do something eye catching as soon as he comes on. I say when he comes on, because I wonder if he’ll ever be a regular starter under this manager and yet, when you look at how the team has gone since Bulut took over and what Colwill has done when he’s been given a chance, you have to think that, while he’s not perfect by any means, he should be starting in a team that finds chance creation so hard.
The only eye-catching things about him yesterday were his hair and his incompetence. Smashed a clearance into one of our defenders and gave away a corner. Then ran straight into a few players without looking up, lost the ball, and we conceded immediately.

I am not anti-Colwill, not at all, but yesterday showed why no manager will trust him with a serious role.
Maybe next time he'll have a great game. I hope so.

A basket case of a club with a succession of managers who only have a safety first policy and would rather pick someone like Rinomhota as the reserve right back. Some of the senior players have been so bad, I struggle to see how a kid could have been worse. All managers have been in self preservation mode from day 1.

Like the whole of last season, and despite what Bulut says, we need to actually create chances to be clinical…

Bit harsh on criticising him for the clearance when Goutas decided to tackle him!

I thought he was fouled initially but on seeing the replay he wasn't, he was just too slow releasing it.

Outside of that I don't think he really deserves any criticism from the game considering he only had 15 minutes and out of position.

He loves to criticise Colwill. He was clearly not at fault in that situation, he was facing the right way to clear it and Goutas, well, I dont know what the f*ck he was thinking.

Colwill and Turnbull both come on in the 78th minute yet seemed to have been turned into the fall guys for Saturdays defeat for many on this forum. We were 1 down and had sarted to lose the impetus we had at the start of the 2nd half well before they come on. From recollection Colwill put the cross in for Kangas header late on. One of the few half decent chances / attempts on target we had all game.

Can't remember the last time we scored on the break away. Bulut tactics is to slow everything down. We've had it with him in charge.

We might get out of this but that doesn’t excuse the first 40 minutes. How it took him that long to change it, God knows. I could have set the team up to press them like that. He’s the worst manager in the league by a ****ing street. Also, the players are absolutely shit. We are going down if he stays, no doubt in my mind. We cannot defend and we cannot score, and that’s been the same story since he arrived.
