Flag football

I see that Flag ( American ) football is in the next olympics, hardly surprising as its in the USA but at the expense of Skateboarding ( which isnt being picked by the US as one of the optional sport )

while I enjoy watching American football, its not really a big worldwide sport ( though flag football is gaining popularity )

I loved the skateboarding! It was incredible. Cheap sport for any kid to have a go at too. I think there’s some talk of boxing being dropped. I don’t know the full story on that.

yes boxings might not make it next time unless the boxing world can agree on a governing body which isnt the IBA as the last 2 have been governed by the IOC

got to agreee with you about skateboarding, watching Sky do her runs was great, such a happy young girl and when she had her final run and knew she had to do something special to beat the Aussie girl ( Trew ) she pushed it

It was a temporary sport for 2024 so won't be in LA (thank goodness). Flag Football and Squash are temporary additions in 2028.

Any sport where the Olympics is not the pinnacle, should not be in the Olympics. Add cricket and tennis to that.

agreed. I would also remove any sport where the outcome is decided by judges scores or artistic merit etc. Make all the swimming events free style.
