  • time for 3-5-2?

would a change in formation be the answer to our woes?

    Odowda + Kpakio wing backs

Ng, Chambers and Daland in the back 3

Robertson+ a.n.other CM with Colwill behind the front 2

    Robinson+ Reindorf up front.

Not sure where willock and El Ghazi fit in but it's got to be better than the current mess

Not fitting El Ghazi in would be a travesty imo.

      Time for a simple 4-4-2?

      Alnwick
      Ng, Chambers, Daland, Bagan
      Tanner/El Ghazi, Robertson, Ralls, O'Dowda
      New Striker, Robinson

      StT.

Hopefully Fish is decent and can replace Chambers.

We can't sign a striker so I'd go with that line up with Colwill.

And a new manager. Colwill as the 10.

Our best attacking option today was our ODowda. We need him further up the field which means Bagan should come in.

O'Dowda didn't get a look in today against their right back. When he does get the chance to cross he never gets the ball past the 1st defender..

I'd like us to play 4-2-4 Colwill as the second striker who's allowed to roam, play fast decisive football. Attack Attack Attack!

                What !!! No Ramsey !!! ??

Only joking, but I doubt Bulut has the confidence to drop him..

For the 352, Willock could play up front (didn't he used to with QPR sometimes?) with Robinson, although he already looks like he has buyer's/mover's remorse. Maybe I'm sentimental but I'd put Ramsey at 6. When Fish is fit, I'd play him instead of Ng.

Totally disagree with this, I don't think O Dowda's had a good game since he's come back from injury tbh

not seen fish, but I like Ng in a back 3, his passing range is very helpful from there, he isn't an overlapping fullback however

Moving O’Dowda further forward makes a lot of sense as he’s a goal threat as he makes an effort to get to the back post

Last season a lot was made of the injuries to Ramsey and O'Dowda as being a reason for our slump in form. Can't really say that any more.

I'm guilty there of the old If-they're-not-playing-they-must-be-better-than-who's-out-there-now trick. I think Ng has his issues defensively but for all I know Fish might be rubbish.

Being hopeful is a positive quality.
