      Indeed. O’Dowda often looks the part, but in truth there is very rarely any end product from him. It’s a mystery to me why so many City fans seem to rate him so highly. He’s an average Championship player on a good day, and his good days are infrequent.

        I agree he is an average championship player who started in a squad of L1 players, so he looked a level up.

        He isn't a left back, probably a wing back with three centre halves, but Bulut would make that a back 5 !!

        I think Willock set his stall out for his tenure here, he ain't doing any of that tracking back stuff, nor is he busting a gut to get on the back post on a break. So if he starts it needs to be a genuine defender behind him.

            O’Dowda and NG are better suited at wing back….imo, both are suspect ‘defending’.
