    Re: Tonight’s Boxing

Only Eddie Hearn could mention Hagler v Hearns in a comparison with last night.

No Eddie that was a completely one sided beat down.

Well done Dubois - brilliant performance. Proved me wrong. Come a long way since the Joyce defeat.

Joshua’s approach to last nights fight, was akin to Southgate’s tactics at the Euro’s in Germany.Absolutely no belief, or confidence.
      Beaten before it started.

You see his stiff leg and trying to get up.
        It caught him alright.
It definitely caught him. It knocked him out. It just didn't look to me like it landed properly. But obviously, it must have.

Yeah there was 1 angle I thought it barely landed but another shows it's a clean shot.

Joshua's punch resistance seems to have deteriorated mind.

Joshua has earned a fortune. Those around him should be telling him to call time on his career. That was a beating last night. Need to end it and enjoy money and life than risk permanent health damage.

So I will count you out when I offer my £500 each tickets for sale?

They were premium tickets which impressed me till I found out premium was just the price , as far away from the stage and as high up as you can get ... I managed to get through as I was watching Cardiff getting beaten at home..
it was just one of those lucky days. :-)

I thought he was very brave , he was gone from round one .
Dubois put me in mind of Mike Tyson as he circled to crush AJ.

                Boxers are brave. Too brave.

Eddie talking of re-matches after the beating last night and all the money he's made off Joshua is depressing.

It won't be him in 20 years slurring his speech etc.

He was badly concussed last night and needs to walk away and bin Eddie's number.

                  Hopefully he will see sense.
He has taken a few beatings in his carear , surprised us all by coming back better and stronger , that should be his last hurrah last night.

How about people putting some respect on Daniel Dubois name.

World champ made to come in to the ring first and play second fiddle to the Anthony Joshua show.

Then everyone talking about AJ and where does his careers go from here when Dubois should be applauded for giving the Kent a right mauling from the first bell.

                      Poor AJ. Boo-****ing-hoo.

First time I've heard the challenger having a rematch clause as well.

Just reading a bit about Pat Thomas , Cardiff boxer

                              1979 world champion?

                              I never knew that

Pat Thomas won the British light middleweight title and then lost it on points to Herrol Graham in Sheffield over 15 rounds.
