    Re: Tonight’s Boxing

I think Cardiff has produced four world champions. Jim Driscoll, Steve Robinson, Barry Jones and Joey Cordina. I think Joe Erskine fought for the European title as did Nicky Piper, not sure if he won the European title.

          Poor AJ. Boo-****ing-hoo.
Why do you (and others) hate AJ so much? I don't get it. He's not the best of all time but he's a very good boxer who's been part of some of the biggest nights in British boxing ever. And bar his performance after the 2nd Usyk fight where he acted like a tool he's always been pretty gracious and respectful as well. Overhyped? Maybe, but he's still a two time world champion with a decent CV. Give me him over that twat Fury any day of the week.

Yes I am a Joshua fanboy :hehe:

But your second point is fair, Dubois was class on Saturday, if he keeps going like that there's not many who could handle him

This 2 time thing is one thing that annoys me.

If he hadn't been beaten up by a fat Mexican in the 1st place he wouldn't be calling himself one.

I'm glad he lost. Mainly because of Eddie Hearn but Joshua acting like a tough gangster in the build up and threatening to put a chair across Dubois head was another good reason to want him to lose.

Joshua always comes across to me as a bit insincere, he's turned into a bit of a parody. Although I don't really care about all that shit anyway. I've always thought that he was over hyped, not his fault etc, and he hasn't been the same since Klitschko chinned him. He's just not as good as people thought he was in my opinion, although good luck to him, boxers deserve every penny they earn, crazy occupation.

Backed up with don't disrespect me you don't want to be taking this there. Well the intimidation didn't work as he ended up face down with his arse up in the air.

Can’t believe Joshua is thinking about continuing. Must still be suffering from Saturday. He’s totally finished, and risks serious damage to his health if he fights again.
Dubois really beat him up bad, and with the improvement triple D has shown, will give Usyk a much better challenge when they meet again.

Showing my ignorance here but what is the 3rd D in Dubois's name?
