Re: EROL BULUT SACKED
I agree, he wasn’t exactly hounded out, other than by Internet /social media fans as he pointed out.
He’ll no doubt get a job elsewhere, probably back in Turkey. To be fair he never stood a chance under the regime, let’s see who is daft enough to think they can buck the trend and bring some success.

Re: EROL BULUT SACKED
The annoying thing is that this should have happened five months ago - his rant on Thursday showed how out of touch he’d become. Now attention shifts to a set of players who could do with proving that they really are as good as many of the supporters think they are because we’ve looked like a poor, bottom of the table side in our last three games.
Having given the bloke they sacked six games into the season a new contract three months ago and then allowed him to spend the most in a transfer window since summer 2019, Tan and co begin yet another hunt for a new manager knowing that the club’s reputation as one of the biggest basket cases in the EFL has only grown and the question will the Tan effect put some of the good candidates we should be attracting off seems more relevant than ever.

Surely his time has finally come!

Re: EROL BULUT SACKED
Not sure if any new odds have been produced since the club announcement, but 6 days ago the top four (shortest odds) candidates to replace Bulut were: Rob Page, Steven Schumacher, Dave Challinor and Mick Beale.
Out of that lot Challinor looks the most interesting - but he is in a job.

Re: EROL BULUT SACKED
Bulut will probably go down as the most fortunate manager in history as a fanbase stuck behind him on the whole despite dreadful offerings due to the sheer desperation for some stability. If he had found a win in the opening six he’d have probably stumbled on a while longer but it got to the point it just couldn’t be ignored
The only positive for once is that it doesn’t seem like any of the players brought in the season were his
