This same Millwall team played Preston off the park on the weekend, so perhaps we aren't giving ourselves enough credit for a win that admittedly could have gone either way.

We did ok. Some players really stepped it up, Ralls & Robertson in particular. Colwill was good on the ball and off the ball, Bagan looked steady and Goutas was solid coming back in

The hesitation was because he couldn't sort his feet out

I was surprised by how poor Millwall were in the second half (I thought they were OK in the first half). But maybe their manager's post-match comments are realistic:

"I thought we massively helped Cardiff. That was our worst league performance of the season, without a shadow of a doubt. Stats don't lie, Cardiff have been the lowest scoring team and worst performing team in the division. Individually and collectively, we were poor. You can't give poor goals away. A Neil Harris team and a Millwall team can't get sucker-punched on set-plays. That gave Cardiff confidence and belief and we just didn't react accordingly."

I thought they were pretty good in the opening 25 minutes or so. Second half they were poor, definitely lost something when 39 (Honeyman?) went off

I think that's pretty accurate from Harris. If people take their CCFC specs off then what we saw was no better than any scrap at the bottom end of a L2 game imo. It's sobering to remind ourselves that we're watching Championship football....one down from the PL.

This Millwall fan is quite concise with his thoughts

Really poor second half. No shape, laboured and loads of individual errors. Leonard had a right go at Esse too for losing the ball. In all honesty, Esse was the only one that looked like he’d make a difference all game.

****ing bollocks. This loss is on the players no one else, too many senior players didn’t turn up tonight. If I was Harris I’d get on the coach and tell the driver to leave, make the players make their own ****ing way home, let them know how it feels to be stuck in the arse end of nowhere after a shit performance like that.

**** Cardiff too, bunch of farmyard raping wrong uns. They shouldn’t even be playing In the English league the *****.

It was a clear foul but with everything the ref let go reckon we were a tiny bit fortunate with the disallowed goal. When I saw that marking I thought we were in for a long night, at the time I blamed Ng but seems like it was maybe Tanner who totally switched off.
