  • How to approach West Brom away?

How would you approach the game? and how do you think Riza will?

Stick with the line-up that has won the last 2? or go for a bit more solidity in the middle and try to catch them on the break?

hard to change a winning line up, but West Brom away is a *very* different prospect to the p-mouth teams at home.

    Don’t overthink it Riza.

Try the exact same thing with the exact same players and hope that we score more than they do.

Anything else would be too Bulut-esque.

Thats the let them worry about us approach very rare these days, personally I would love to see him try it and see how it works out.

Stick with a winning team or tweak it slightly if injuries are present

        In Riza We Trust

it would certainly be a good indication of how good we actually are.

If he does play the same team and adopt the same tactics it may or may not come off but we should at least cut Riza some slack based on the last two performances.

Playing the way we have been will get us further up the table, which after our disastrous start to the season is perfectly acceptable. Nobody is expecting a play-off challenge are they ?!!

West Brom play Blackburn away tonight.

Prior to today they have not won in four.

I think he will tweak it a bit. Whilst I think you have to adapt somewhat for the opposition you face (few teams can impose themselves without worry) I would like to see us have a good go as we have been playing with so much confidence.

It's difficult for him to make changes without having an impact on the positivity in the group at the moment and the way we are playing.
If we're going to lose I'd rather lose playing as we have done the last couple of games, than because he's picked Siopis or Ralls (if he's fit) for example and changed the way we play.

I hope Riza keeps most things the same. Continuity and confidence - and a winning habit!

The only personnel changes I think should be considered (unless players injured or knackered) are Daland for Chambers and/or Bagan for O'Dowda. But Chambers and O'Dowda both had good games last night.

The defence is likely to have a harder time on Saturday than in recent outings - and that is when a slow (if improving) Chambers or a converted winger in O'Dowda could be exposed.

I really hope he doesn't go 'safe' and defensive in midfield - and break up some very good emerging (and talented) partnerships.

Tough game, hopefully, they over-exert themselves physically, fingers crossed they lose and it affects their mentality and confidence, and one less day of rest also affects their recovery, it could be a good time to play them.

They haven't scored in seven hours of football

Wouldn't want to see him change much. Let's take the game to them and see what happens. I think most of us would accept losing to teams at the top end of the table at the moment as long as we play some good football and give it a go.
