Siopis in particular would give the ball away. Ralls would be pulling at their shirts trying to stop the opposition, and picking up a booking in the process.
Leave it as it is. As already said in this thread... don't over-think it.
I’m not even sure Sio is a defensive midfielder, I’m not sure what he is, his lack of discipline to hold his position is shocking. He came on Tuesday and chased everything everywhere and left huge gaps in behind him, at one point he was chasing down the keeper, why?

It’s funny how people see things differently, someone near us said he’s like the Duracell bunny, I thought he was more like a headless chicken.

Changing the two CMs just put us under pressure, we lost control of midfield and invited Pompey to attack
Maybe Siopis could have been brought on to assist the two CMs in closing out the game, but putting both him and Rinomhota on was a strange decision

Tactically he could have taken off one of the front four, if the decision was made to close out the game?

Like the changes at Bristol, I thought they were odd and it’s this sort of thing that concerns me more about Riza and his suitability for the job

It could be argued that we won so he was right and it’s hard to justify my view, when all 3 points were secured

Back to Saturday, it would be hard to change a winning team, personally I’d prefer to see Dalaand back in alongside Goutas, but Chambers hasn’t done anything wrong and for team spirit I think he has to go with the same starting eleven

I’ve been openly critical of Kanga, who now appears to be seen as a joke by lots of fans

Wouldn’t the best option be to start him in the U21s. as an overage player for a couple of games to see if he can score and get some confidence back?

Otherwise just keep him out and give Reindorf an opportunity in the squad

Attack WBA from the off. Their current form is poor. Let's get the boing boing baggies on the backs of their team and manager. I would keep the same side as in the last two games with the maximum of never change a winning side. The only change I would make is on the subs bench with Reindorf replacing Kanga, to make Kang rue his misses in front of goal.

Karlan Grant is the player who may give us the most problems this Saturday.

But I wouldn't describe Ralls or Siopis as dogs in midfield.

Stick with the line-up that has won the last 2? or go for a bit more solidity in the middle and try to catch them on the break?

hard to change a winning line up, but West Brom away is a *very* different prospect to the p-mouth teams at home.
I think that given they way they play together changing the mid-field 3 should be the last thing he considers.

Both rested early Tuesday and with an extra day, they should be right up for it and flying. Take the game to them right from the start.

I’ve seen somewhere that Daaland has played midfield. To me a better call than Sio

Be careful, you're slipping into BLUETIT territory with that kind of 'joke'.

No need to apologise Steve, as we go over the New Bridge, as there are too many roundabouts on the A449

I watched a bit of that game , 2 pretty boring sides . Didnt feel we should be overtly worried about WBA .
If Riza doesnt put the shackles on , we should give them a game .

They should be played as primarily defensive midfielders
