  • Where's Rambo?

I'm not trying in any way to make him any sort of scapegoat for the pool of lanced pus filled boils that is our club, but where is he and what is he doing?

Will he play for us again? Is he helping Riza out? Is he waiting for some Welsh fixtures to demonstrate some level of fitness before having another injury?

We hear absolutely nothing of him but he could be a really crucial figure, even if he's not playing.

Probably just doing Physio like the rest of the injured players.

Don’t think so, if anything we aren’t short of in this squad it’s that

It's a very fair question. And a large part of what I thought he would bring would be off the pitch, which presumably he can still do. As you say, we hear nothing.

When Rizza first took over there was something about him sitting up in the directors box and providing advice on tactics

                Re: Where's Rambo?

Our situation 18 months after him rejoining the club is now dire and whilst he is undoubtedly a really nice bloke, top chap and a very good footballer in his prime, it is doubtful that when his contract expires it will be renewed. He has played 17 games since the start of last season...

A disastrous signing to go with most of the other recent additions. Perhaps he shifted a few additional replica shirts when he arrived but how anyone thought he would make a meaningful contribution on the pitch in the championship given his career trajectory and injury record is beyond me.

                    Re: Where's Rambo?

Given his pedigree, his FAW A license and the money we’re paying him I would have expected to see him at the dugout or on the sidelines.

Even if he can’t make an impact on the pitch I’d expect him to try and put a shift in off it.

He would probably pull a muscle pointing to the pitch.

It was part of what I was thinking about when I wrote my post. Ramsey has more experience at the highest level than the rest of the club combined and he could be a really crucial part of survival this season. But, whatever he's doing (or not), apart from polishing the treatment tables with his arse, this experience seems to be counting diddly.

Saying that, Wayne Rooney arguably has even more of that experience, and that's working so well for Plymouth....

In normal situations, his wages will be covered by insurance. Given this is Cardiff City however...
