His two seasons with us have followed a similar path, he plays until the first international break, then disappears for months. In his first season, he contributed little when he eventually returned. One difference in the two seasons though is that, for the first one, he looked like someone who could make a positive contribution if he stayed fit, but this time around, he was a bit of a liability, so im not expecting much from him if he does return.

Ramsey is perhaps my favourite player of the past fifteen to twenty years, so it’s sad to see him ending his playing career like this - Earnie, Koumas and now Ramsey, it’s best not to bring your heroes back.

Hopefully with his Arsenal connections he can recommend a signing or 2 in January. I doubt Callum Chambers would be here without Ramsey. Hopefully another couple of gems like him.
