I was going to post something similar.

I saw an interview with the Coventry chairman where he seemed to suggest that at least part of the reason for sacking Robins was the falling out between Robins and Viveash.

Perhaps he can forge a successful partnership with Rowberry

I also dislike Stoke … probably stemming from the days at the top of the third tier, but there is no way they’re a worse run club than us.

I agree. They are going through some turmoil but they had ten consecutive seasons in the PL with three top-half finishes. Their games remain relatively well-attended despite having Port Vale as neighbours, Crewe Alex on their doorstep and Liverpool, Everton, Man City, Man Utd, Notts Forest, Wolves, Birmingham City, Villa and West Brom all within 45 miles of the Bet365 stadium.

They are surrounded by clubs who have won 13 European Cups between them so competition to attract and retain supporters is intense. They have punched well above their weight for nearly two decades.

Stokes ground looks as empty as ours no way have their attendances stayed solid.
They must still be paying more managers than us.

Pretty sure the same rules apply to all clubs and Stoke have to declare tickets sold as opposed to physical attendances, so I'd guess they're in the same situation as us regarding season ticket holders not turning up.

Stoke's average attendance last season was 22,742. Ours was 21,213.

Stoke'ss average attendance this season is 22,607. Ours is 18,521.

No, haven't seen anything of Stoke this season. Haven't watched any of their live games.

On the subject of empty grounds, I watched the highlights of the Preston game again a couple of days ago. There was one angle from the corner of the grandstand that showed just how empty to Ninian Stand was. It was quite shocking. Apparently there were only 9,000 of us at that game.

Yep. They didn't hang about there. They saw a good guy come up, and went and got him. It'll be interesting to see how they progress, seeing as so many City fans fancied Robins to come here.
