in AA's defence he does make it back for at least half of the fixtures each season, home and away, he's got Taylor Swift's carbon footprint, wouldn't mind his air miles..

Personally,I’d never defend the guy but a guy called Jonny (who I don’t know) organised it with a group of others. AA wasn’t involved in any organisation but obviously went on the march.

I asked the Police liaison officer and he said 250 were at the actual stadium , although around 1,000 started the walk before they all dispersed and went into the ground.

It was clever to choose that route as impossible for anyone to tell who is just walking to the game perhaps completely unaware there even is a protest and who is actually on the protest.

The little clip on the news he was literally at the front, in fact he was ahead of the banner the rest were stood behind.

They started by the Napier I believe. Never seen so much rubbish and broken glass/ bottles by there before.

                    Re: Protest

Just watched the video on the bbc article and the guy who spoke was very articulate and spoke very well on the issues with Tan, asking for him to go or change. Very reasonable and one in the eye for those who just want to label it as a bunch of thugs on a power trip. Bet they are gutted it didn’t kick off or lead to a Cardiff defeat.

Well done to all involved and done more to raise awareness than any Fans Advisory board have done so far

So in front of the banners and everyone else on the march- shouting from a megaphone.

His forums and Facebook pages have been the only places pushing it.

Nothing to do with him though......
I’ll be honest I’ve seen next to nothing about the protest as I don’t go on that forum anymore. Seem very little on Twitter/X other than a few saying they were undecided if they wanted to join it.

I used to be very active on here but then stupidly followed the "fans leader" when he set it up and was over the simply because I found the layout easier. I left there 11 years ago but just never really bothered with message boards since. This year has gone through a few iterations since I was sat on a windows 98 pc!
Yeah, says joined 2007 underneath your name! That means I've been on here 17 years :yikes:

                                Re: Protest

In my opinion the protest was a bit of a damp squib. Despite walking to the game from Canton, I saw nothing. Then we not only play well, but hammer our biggest rivals, and in front of a bumper crowd. The team fielded four players that we have paid good money for this season (Daland, Chambers, Robertson, and Salech). We have no debt, except to Tan himself. Things could be a lot worse.
