Just seen the brief highlights, after listening to the radio commentary.

The composure shown by the new striker in pausing as he let the ball bounce, and adjusted his feet as he turned, before turning it into the net was really refreshing to see. Cudos goes to NG and Chambers for keeping the move going "off the cuff".

In watching the limited highlights, it is good to see the new striker taking up good positions, creating space for himself and anticipating things, instead of on his heels and ball watching as some other recent "#9's" have been guilty of. More so after appearing to not let that earlier, easier, chance affect him.

Early days for him, but so far, so good, long may he run.

Shall we call him Salech?

This young man has done more for City in 29 minutes than Kanga did in his entire loan spell.

After having my hopes dashed so many times in the recent past, I gave the dreaded youtube video highlights a miss this time.

Seems like the way to go, with the added bonus of missing out on the crappy music that goes with it as well 🤣

What stuck me is he bloody tried which Etete had and Kanga didn’t and a bit of strength which Kanga had but Etete didn’t.

I cant recall any moments where Kanga used his strength to the benefit of the team. He probably was strong but didn't benefit us.

Completely agree, Riza got the starting line up wrong.

I don't think we have a squad where you can make wholesale changes and expect the players to slip into a pattern of play. We looked disjointed and ragged for long periods -even though we were better than Millwall. Another Daland error, too.

He plays in the right area and takes a good position between the sticks, he looks decent so far.

After a terrible start, it feels like a win.

We lack quality in depth is what you're saying then? i'd agree, i think most people would.
