    Re: Ryan Wintle

IF we do get relegated, then you need players like Ryan Wintle to help you cement your position in League One, for a long time...

He'd help us stay out of League 2.

There's another modern football phrase in that report for us to learn - "press resistant". Don't tell Tuerto.

I'm sure a hotel Corby would sort that out!

press resistant has been around as a term for quite a while, I fist recall it being used to describe Moussa Dembele at spurs at least 10 years ago.

"the profile" is a true innovation in football parlance though

Press resistant's not so bad when it actually applies to a player. Busquets for example, was undoubtedly press resistant

In his latest pre-match press conference, Riza described Sheffield Wednesday as having '"good concepts."

I was disappointed on Saturday. I thought we might be seeing some science fiction or something similar.

Only when the questions were in English.

Beautiful player to watch, in his prime with Xavi and Iniesta...liquid football.

Hate to be the one to break it but Stan Ogden & Betty Turpin have both passed away but on a brighter note Ken’s still going strong:thumbup:

First time I've heard it, but maybe I've been spending too long in the half-space of zone 14.

Any updates on Minnie Caldwell or Albert Tatlock? I haven't watched Coronation Street since 1965 and I'm a bit out of touch.
