If someone's first game was the playoff final when they were 16. They would be 38 now and this will be all they've ever known. Premier League aside, our last relegation was 25 years ago.

I was one of the 2,800 regulars in Division 4 during the early 90's.

It does make you think doesn't it. There are kids who became fans, who could now be as old as perhaps 30, who have never seen Cardiff City relegated below division 2.

We got promoted from division 2 to division 1 then was rebranded as the Championship soon after?

Was at the old Dell in April 1975. Lost 2-0 We were relegated. Either that night or the match before.

I started watching city in 86/87, my first relegation was the 89/90 season back down to division 4. I remember being there at Gigg Lane losing 2-0 to Bury, they were grim times.
I can’t see us going down again, but if we don’t sort out the shitshow we could be in league 1 (div.3) for a while.

That will be the likes of me.

Last time we dropped into Division 3 (old money) we followed it up the season after by storming to another relegation to Division 4.
