We didn’t “compete” in the Championship, so I’m looking forward to the change in attitudeOriginally posted by the other bob wilson View Post“Will compete in League One” - are they scared to mention the word ?

Yes and the club released this immediately upon final whistle- 2 days ago.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostDon’t understand what you mean. We were relegated as soon as the final whistle blew on Saturday.
I thought this post was about an announcement or something since.

All clubs do it now Bob - Leicester put out an equally pitiful tweet when they got relegated: something about 'confirming their place in the Championship next season' as if they had somehow won the right.

Re: A relegation is announced.
That’s like something from a different world isn’t it. I’ve just looked on City’s website and apart from Aaron Ramsey’s post game comments and what he said at the Player of the Year awards, the only public acknowledgment of our feeble relegation I’ve seen from City are these pathetic “ Will be competing in League One” comments - there’s another one of them in the match report on the website.Originally posted by Undercoverinwurzelland View PostTake a look at this from Carlisle United's chairman on the day they were relegated to the National League

Does anyone at the club have any actual emotional feeling? Even if it was only to read the room and understand what has just happened.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostThat’s like something from a different world isn’t it. They are more concerned with wishing a player happy birthday that showing and form of concern.
Do you think Dalman and Choo have actually phoned Tan yet to tell him we have been relegated.

Back in the day at the very least Steve Borley would have been upset and said something. But nothing on his Twitter I can see even mentions it.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostIt’s like corporate speak isn’t it.
It's almost been swept unbder the carpet. Ramsey is the only person to acknowledge what's happened apart from the throw away line mentioned above “Will compete in League One”
No anger, no remorse, no apology, no tears, nothing.
The lack of resposnsibility only highlights how out of touch the club is with it's fans.
The good work done by the foundation, the programme creators, the womens team, the academy, the ticket office all gets overlooked and diluted because no one is owning the elephant in the room.
Football is massive at the moment and is getting bigger and Tan has allowed our potential to be pissed against the wall.
What a waste of an opportunity.
