I saw Devo at Knebworth in 1978, along with Genesis, Jefferson Starship, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Brand X, Atlanta Rhythm Section and Roy Harper.

Tom Petty was the best of the lot, Devon got lots booing.

Did see a line up for this summer which isn’t really too exciting, I’m sure TLG will be off to take that and Katy Perry but it’s not for me…

Kingfishr at the Depot May 19th will be a great gig. They have taken Ireland by storm lads. Well worth a look.

Also have a fair few other gigs planned: GANS (tonight!), Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage, Pixies, Jesus & Mary Chain, LCD Soundsystem, Wilco, Lana Del Rey (largely chaperoning!), Oasis, James, PiL. Probably looking forward to LCD Soundsystem the most!
Have you listened to Grian Chatten's solo stuff ? Worth a listen.

I am going to see these in Le Pub next month. Described as Post Punk but have a great 80's feel to it if you like that sort of thing.

                            depends what you are into...

sleaford mods are the progenitors for a certain post punk sound that has given us yard act, the murder capital, english teacher...

adult DVD are similar to working mens club and westside cowboy are very similar to slow club, if you've heard of any of them.

TVAM are best seen on an urban dose of shrooms, they's proper psychadelic rock cum shoegaze

                            Double Lucifer

                            they're all very good, imho
