he did very well on his 2 loan spells in Belgium - just a bit unfortunate with injuries at the wrong times.
he's been called up to the Japan squad before and they're not bad.

I think it seems likely they were signed purely for Tans Belgian club. Now we have both been relegated holding them on either clubs books not viable.

Neither were given a chance here.

      Some really bizarre signings.

If he was genuinely any good he'd have played for the first team at some stage. After all, we've been mostly rubbish defensively since he signed. But it never happened.

Cardiff City reportedly paid £1.5 million for Ryotaro Tsunoda.

Cardiff City player sold without playing a single minute in 18 months

Cardiff City defender Ryotaro Tsunoda has been sold back to former club Yokohoma F. Marinos without registering a single minute of competitive action in a Bluebirds shirt.

"The defender joined the Bluebirds in January 2024 and experienced two loan spells in Belgium with K.V. Kortrijk.

"We'd like to wish Tsuno the very best of luck for the future."

Tsunoda becomes the 14th player to leave the club this summer, with nine players' contracts not renewed, Callum O'Dowda having been sold and Roko Simic and Michael Reindorf sealing loan moves away.

Not much difference between those and O'Dowda's and he has to be classed as above average during his time here

wasn't there another player from Aldershot we signed at the same time as Joe? whatever happened to him?

We signed Ralls from Farnborough. But he was born in Aldershot, he’s apparently an Aldershot fan and I think that’s where his family is based.

Jordan Carter, went on to play for Bagshot Lea, looks like he is playing for Dial Sq FC in Lv 11, Surrey Premier County Football League ( or was last season anyway )
