By the way, talking of 'It's a Fair Cop', have you ever listened to the eponymous Radio 4 programme? The retired policeman concerned is a real wit - and one learns a wee bit about the law to boot.

It's a very good programme. I had tickets first a recent recording in Cardiff, but things happened on the day that meant I couldn't go.

Taunton Blue Genie (a valued member of this board, of course) posted on the 'Keith Morgan' thread; AA replied to his post by saying "Welcome back and good to see you on here".
For a bit of context, TBG has just 68 posts in 15 years on that message board. How would he remember someone with so few posts, particularly on a site whereby anyone with under 1,000 posts to their name is an endangered species and risks being culled if they dare step out of line?

What makes you think he remembers TBG? AA only has to look at TBG's profile to see when he joined and how often he has posted.

It is the total lack of any corroborating evidence from any other media agency which surely must set alarm bells ringing in the minds of even the regulars on there,with some of the dogmatic being made,their thread on the takeover is starting to have the feel of an urban myth,which everybody knows is fact but no one knows where it started.

I visit it from time to time. I no longer post on there, after having 2 previous usernames banned (fairly innocuous posts). I just felt it didn't warrant the effort of creating a third username :hehe:

I have also noticed one or two of his followers are now saying they've been told by their contacts , which is no doubt BS,That Tan was advised not to sell yet . Are the mods now preparing to slowly drip feed us with bad news,then drop the bombshell,Tan doesn't want to sell

To be fair, I think he was genuine. In passing, I have come across him once or twice in person and he does seem to remember me for whatever reason. My dashing looks and athletic body perhaps :hehe: He also rang me once at home, years ago and probably regarding the red fiasco. Similarly, I once had a phone conversation with Keith (having never met him in person) and I remember my very positive impression of him even though it was probably two or three years ago.

I am not a member of any particular cohort and am happily ensconced in the bowels of Somerset away from the madding crowd.

I used to run the Cardiff City Exiles website a number of years ago (aiding City fans to share lifts and even meet up in ex-pat locations) - and I used to be contacted occasionally by a number of parties connected with the club as a result. His knowledge of me may come from that time. In passing, he has addressed me simply as 'Taunton'.

I remember that site and i once contacted you during my seafaring days. Asking info for people following city from the naval base areas of Plymouth and or pompey. It was a good site as was the Urban??? ran by a lad from the 1927 club.
