I know they were to correct myself, Field Mill is now called the One Call Stadium.

Shouldn’t it be Pride Park and Prejudice and Northanger Abbey Stadium.

Make your point without calling people pricks. There’s a reason I keep threads about the other board off here usually as it descends into name calling and gets quite childish. I felt this week the nature of the topic meant we needed to crossover.

You may have noticed from my Matlock post I’ve been away this week so have only been watching via mobile in the most part and have tried to allow everyone to make their points. I get home last night and your post is there calling people pricks. It wasn’t just ‘pompous and sycophantic’.

No you’re right, it wasn’t just pompous and sycophantic it was nauseating too, I don’t recall using the word prick at all because I know your very precious about upsetting he who shall not be named.

Sludge could call anyone what he wanted for a good 18 months - 2 years on here before Mike finally clipped his wings but whoa betide you call an **** moderator a prick, which I don’t even recall saying.

And as for moderating I’ve seen Matt delete posts he didn’t like slagging off his mate La Brute 🙄

Social media politics.

I didn't post for 10 years (i walked away from the club over the rebrand) but have been back on here and at the CCS for the last three years.

Like many I enjoy the banter / discussion / humour on here.

Posters come and go (many come back) but in this modern world of scrutiny and responsibility and complaints etc, moderating has to be taken seriously.

Let's be thankful this board still exists in the format it does.

In defence of Mike here I understand why. If you can hide behind a pseudonym then you're pretty well protected but when they know who you are (and they know who Mike is) it will be cold, calculating and unrelenting. It's a nasty world that we live in at the moment.
