I've lost about 6 stone since summer 2024. BP and liver readings all normal now. BMI down from 40 to 28.

Made a huge difference to health and to my wardrobe :-)

They said take a booze break for 6 weeks then only drink on special occasions but I stayed off it. Now have 0.0's if I want the beer experience. Don't think I can ever go back to previous levels which makes me wonder if it's worth having any at all going forward.
Brilliant, great achievement. I was never a drinker, couldn't tolerate it and I didn't like how it made me feel, so my lad drop of Alcohol was in 2008. It was a bit awkward at the beginning, because culturally in this country drinking is the beginning and end to everything. Now I don't even think about it, I just don't want the stuff, the smell of it turns my stomach. Do what you're comfortable with Mike, although I'd say that you're better without it.
